A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF SIMILARITIES BETWEEN FAYUZI YAZDANI AND FAWAID AL-FUAD
Keywords:
Islamic Mysticism, love of Allah, SubmissionAbstract
Islamic mysticism, or Tasawwuf, is a spiritual science that centers on the love of Allah and His final Messenger (S.A.W.), aiming for the enlightenment of the soul and heart. This sacred discipline emphasizes the purification of the qalb (heart) and nafs (self), along with the moral regulations (ahkām al-akhlāq). The present study examines the works of two prominent mystics: the Urdu translation of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani’s Al-Fath al-Rabbani by Fayuzi Yazdani, and Fawaid al Fuad by Khawaja Nizamuddin Auliya. The comparative analysis will explore the similarities in literary style, key themes related to Tasawwuf, and the sources referenced by these Sufi authors in the composition of their respective texts.
