Pakistan's court system is well-organised and structured. There are active regular courts throughout the nation. Many affluent nations around the world have adopted alternative conflict resolution methods, most often alternative conflict resolution, in spite of conventional litigation. Through the use of alternative dispute resolution, people's problems can be resolved outside of official court proceedings. The traditional social structure already serves as the foundation for the alternative conflict settlement system. Additionally, Pakistan has codified a number of laws pertaining to ADR. This study compares and contrasts different laws pertaining to alternative dispute resolution. Its compatibility, adaptation, and process are examined, and suggestions are made for its successful enactment and application. There is a discussion of the history and purpose of alternative dispute resolution procedures and legislation. The importance of ADR laws in lessening the judicial burden of cases is also emphasised.
