This study explores the role of emotional intelligence (EI) in fostering healthy relationships among couples, with a focus on understanding how EI influences relationship satisfaction, communication, and conflict resolution. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing a Likert-scale questionnaire to assess the emotional intelligence levels of 50 couples (30 males and 20 females). Data were analyzed using SPSS software, with descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis conducted to examine the relationship between EI and relationship health. The findings reveal a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and key relationship outcomes, including enhanced communication, reduced conflict, and higher levels of relationship satisfaction. The study underscores the importance of emotional intelligence as a critical factor in building and maintaining healthy romantic relationships. These results have implications for couples therapy and relationship education programs, suggesting that fostering emotional intelligence skills may contribute to stronger, more resilient partnerships.
